From August 23 - August 29, 2010, St. Charles Country Club in
The Children’s Hospital Foundation helps treat over 130,000 children each year and needs the support of $5 million annually to help them do so. With CN being the official supporter of the CN Canadian Women’s Open, the CN Miracle Match program will be matching all donations given through this event. In the last three years the CN Miracle Match has raised over $3.5 million in support of various charities.
This event has already drawn over 1,400 volunteers and 19 different communities to be a part of history. There will be 156 players during the tournament including Lorie Kane, a Canadian golfer in the LPGA and Hayden, the official honorary captain of the 2010 links programs. Hayden is an amazing 6-year-old boy who was diagnosed with extreme asthma as a baby and with the help of the Children’s Foundation his family was able to provide the necessary measures to get his asthma under control.
