Here’s a question from one of our pet parents:
Q: I have an 11 week old Labrador retriever puppy. When can we look at taking him on some hikes and what is the maximum amount of time we should hike for?
Dr Webster says: At this age, it is OK to take him on walks, though you need to let him set the pace. Remember, you need to get back to where you started. Also, make sure he has lots of water to drink along the way and avoid the extreme heat.
